  Nursing beds can replace manual care with automatic care, provide uninterrupted medical services for users, reduce the workload of healthcare workers and patients' families, and make medical care work easier. All installation and maintenance personnel must read these instructions completely.

  Suzhou Hek-Medical Equipment Co., Ltd's Kang Nursing Care®nursing beds are mainly composed of bed surface system, bedside guardrail, bed frame and mobile mechanism, variable position movement mechanism, electrical control box, handheld hand controller and so on.

  1:  Nursing beds are more complicated to use and the user must be twelve years old.

  2:Nursing beds are not suitable for patients taller than 1960mm. 

  3:Always check the condition of the electrical wiring and make sure it is protected from voltage before use.

  4:When not supervised, always keep the bed at a low level.

  5:In the non-operational state, stepping on the centre control actuator of the wheels prevents the nursing bed from shifting.

  6:Only use accessory products that have been approved by ConAgra.

  7:Make sure you do not run over the cord by moving the bed or bedside table or chairs, or by cleaning and lifting the unit; check the cord before use to make sure it is in the proper location; avoid dragging, pulling, tugging, and twisting the cord; and unplug the cord from the outlet when it is not in use for an extended period of time.

  8:Do not use nursing beds near strong electromagnetic fields (e.g., large medical equipment).

  9:Always lock the keys on the hand control, if adjusted it may be hazardous to the patient's health (consult your doctor and nurse practitioner for advice).

  10:If there is no supervisor or if you need to get the patient in and out of the bed, lower the bed first.

  11:Nursing beds should not be used in environments where flammable gases or vapours may be present in the surrounding area.

  12:Avoid using the same motor for more than 2 minutes of continuous operation; a larger continuous operation time of 2 minutes for the same motor; a shorter rest time of 18 minutes after 2 minutes of continuous operation for the same motor; and not to hand-control more than two motors at the same time.

  13:All inspections must be carried out by competent engineers who are capable of assessing and analysing the state of the work and identifying possible results and hazards. They are trained in accordance with the relevant regulations and have the knowledge and experience to carry out maintenance inspections.

  14:The hand-held controls on each of our nursing beds have their own function settings, so please read the instructions for each bed in detail.

  15:In the absence of an external power supply, the battery is used as a temporary power source. (For emergencies, etc.)

  16:The controller includes a battery charging and discharging function that charges the battery if the battery voltage is below 23.5V with the power plug plugged into the power outlet. With the power plug removed, the controller is powered by the battery, and if the battery voltage is below 18V, the battery stops supplying power.

  17:In order to facilitate the moving and use of nursing beds, the head (tail) guardrail plate of Kang Nu Jia nursing bed adopts the hook design, so that it can be loaded and unloaded more quickly; and the side guardrail of the bed can also be suspended and lowered in use.

  18:The mobile castors of the nursing bed are equipped with brakes and the cart has two units divided into upper and lower tiers. The lower level is the brake device, which is fixed when it is pressed; the upper level is the release brake device, which allows the bed to move freely when it is pressed.

  19:Nursing beds should be stored in a room with a relative humidity of less than 85 per cent, free of putrid gases and well ventilated.

  20:Before cleaning and maintaining the nursing bed, the power must be turned off. By the personnel with a cleaner-soaked rag, wipe the bed face and guardrail and other parts of the motor, hand controller, the main control box and sensors, etc. There shall be no water and liquid into it. After wiping the surface of the bed in a natural state and drying, the power can be turned on, and should be in accordance with the relevant requirements, and strictly check the indicators without problems before formal use.
